A deputy arrested a female, placed her in handcuffs
and put her in the back of his patrol car. As the deputy
returned to the vehicle to arrest a male, who resisted and struggled
with the deputy; the woman slipped out of her handcuffs and got out
of the patrol car. The woman then attacked the deputy too.
He was able to go ahead and arrest both subjects.

surrendered after a long standoff with police. In May, he

when the officer stepped walked away from the police car for report
information and when he returned to the police car, the window was
rolled down and the prisoner was gone. Police arrested the subject
after he surrendered and was being transported in the back seat of a
police car. While being taken to the police station, the subject
tried to escape again. He was able to break the plastic FlexiCuffs on
his wrists, undid the restraints on his legs and escaped out an open
police car window. The subject was detained almost instantaneously and
will be charged with attempting to escape, again.

residence and they called police. Officers chased the man on foot

escaped man got an officers taser and began zapping officers and
deputies, even shocking a county K9 dog. An officer used a baton

When the officer went to talk to the tow truck driver, the man slipped
out of the handcuffs and crawled through the caged window into the
driver's seat. The man then stole the police car and lead units on
a high speed chase before another unit used the PIT maneuver to stop the

equipped with numerous guns including a shotgun and rifle. Other
units gave chase, but the man crashed the stolen patrol car into a gate
then abandoned the stolen patrol car with a shotgun. When
confronted by officers, the man shot himself with the shotgun and died.

While the officer was standing about 15 feet from the police car getting
information, the man slipped the handcuffs from behind his back into the
front of his body. The man slipped through the open partition into
the driver's seat of the police car and attempted to drive away.
The officer made several attempts to break the window to gain access to
the man, but he had locked the police car doors from the inside.
Surrounding law enforcement agencies assisted in the search of the
stolen police car. An officer found the stolen police car pull
from a parking lot after the man robbed the business and took beer while
wearing a police hat. The officer attempted to stop the stolen
police car but a high speed chase started. Spike strips were used
to stop the stolen police car. The man was caught and subdued with
a Taser.

rifle were located inside the police car, but the man did not use or
take the guns.

Deputies arrested a wanted
subject after a high speed chase. He was handcuffed and placed in the
back seat of a patrol car while deputies located plastic bags of marijuana
which suspects had thrown out of the car’s windows. The subject
complained of heat in the non air-conditioned back seat so the deputy opened
the small window in the Plexiglas barrier separating the front and rear
passenger areas to give the suspect air. While the deputy assisted a
social worker with children who were in the suspects’ car, the subject
climbed into the front seat and stole the patrol car. A large search
started and the stolen patrol car was found by the state patrol's helicopter
abandoned in a cornfield. The subject was gone.
